The Port Aransas Education Foundation invites you to unwind, connect, and celebrate 20 years of impact at our 2026 gala, Sittin’ on the Dock of Port A.
Set against a relaxed coastal backdrop inspired by the place we call home, this year’s gala brings together friends, neighbors, local businesses, educators, and supporters for an evening dedicated to Port Aransas students.
Expect good company, coastal spirit, great food and drinks, live entertainment, the return of favorite gala traditions, and plenty of ways to support education in our island community.
20 Years of Impact
For two decades, the Port Aransas Education Foundation has helped turn community generosity into opportunities for local students and educators.
Thanks to supporters like you, more than $4.83 million has been invested in Port Aransas schools, educators, students, and educational opportunities since the Foundation was established.
This year, we are celebrating that milestone while continuing to invest in what comes next.
A Port A Kind of Night
Sittin’ on the Dock of Port A is designed to feel unmistakably local. Relaxed, colorful, coastal, and centered around the community that makes Port Aransas special.
Spend the evening visiting the Boardwalk, trying your luck at interactive games, enjoying drinks and dinner, bidding on memorable auction packages, and celebrating the people who continue to invest in our schools.

Make your evening even more memorable with VIP access. In addition to the buffet dinner and open bar included with general admission, VIP guests will enjoy a more exclusive experience featuring fresh oysters, curated tequila and vodka tastings, and customizable event merchandise created just for the night.
